LG Optimus 2 L4 for sale: a deal for those on a budget

Smartphones depreciate very quickly. In fact, there is no need to wait for special promotions buy a new one because the saturation and competition among the various manufacturers is the highest level.

As just one example, phones a couple of years ago with advanced features from the average price of 300 euro today can also be found in models from the average price of 150/200 EUR. This means that if you want to save something or if you plan to spend a considerable amount, you will purchase a phone very, very satisfying.

A few days ago has arrived on the Italian market Lg Optimus L4 2, an Android that we suggest you take into consideration when buying a new phone. He has good basic functions of a software (relatively) up to date and a price.

L4 2 has a screen with a diagonal of 3.8 inches. It has a spectacular resolution (320x480 pixels), but thanks to IPS technology still manages to provide good colors and viewing angles. The SiO + 1700 mAh battery along with 1 GHz single core processor with dedicated GPU and 512 MB of RAM ensures a good battery life, above the average of the phones in the same price range.

The camera is not great (3-megapixel camera with LED flash and VGA video recording), but if you use it occasionally is more than enough. The phone(THL W100) supports 3.5G HSPA network to 7.2 Mbps download and can be used as a mobile hotspot. It has 4 GB of inteal memory, which is more than enough if you are not downloading too many files or too many apps (in the event, you can always buy an exteal microSD card).

To make it more aesthetically pleasing, we report the presence of LED front that notifies you when you have finished to read. The operating system is finally Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. Probably, based on how LG is working currently, will be updated to Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Not bad at all for a phone that costs about 140 Euros.

The price more inviting that you could find at the moment is that proposed by Compraonline MediaWorld, or € 139 for black and white. The phone(THL W200) is distributed by LG Italy. If you have the patience to wait, we are confident that within a few weeks the phone price decreases, until you get to 129 and probably 119 Euros (that's why it may take a few month or so though).

The range of Optimus 2 is the most complete regarding technical (software and hardware) and price. Also, as mentioned earlier, has a good chance of getting the software update to Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Therefore, if you are looking for an interesting opportunity, should always be taken into account.

To get to know the other models in the range to 109 € (always on MediaWorld) we find Lg Optimus L3 2, a phone more modest but already absolutely complete (software Android 4.1, 4GB of memory, a 3.2-inch screen, battery 1540 mAh, 3-megapixel camera). The only weak point is the screen resolution, which is quite grainy, but for the price for which it is offered is very attractive.
