After the announcement of Android 4.3 yesterday, Google has just released the firmware of its smartphones Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 4 and the Nexus 7 and 10 tablets. They are all stamped "JWR66V" and allow more eager to install the new version without waiting for OTA deployment. The Mountain View firm has also released the source code of its new mobile operating system.

At the conference held yesterday, Google announced the arrival of a Nexus 7 "Edition 2013", but also Android 4.3(THL W200), still based on the Jelly Bean branch of its mobile OS. It includes some new features such as a restrictive mode for users, allowing them to block access to certain applications or features, support for Bluetooth Smart (formerly Bluetooth Low Energy), the OpenGL ES 3.0, or the phone part that adopts a numeric keypad that manages auto-completion.

Anyway, Google has released the so-called factory Android 4.3 for its Galaxy Nexus images, Nexus 4, Nexus 7 or Nexus 10. It is then possible to directly update your device without having to wait for OTA deployment by Google. But be careful with this method your personal data will be erased.

If this is not a problem for you, you can then download and install the corresponding image to your mobile device by visiting here. You will find all the instructions on this page.

Finally, Google has also released the source code of this version 4.3(THL W100) of its mobile operating system. To recover, simply go here. It will be interesting to see how long it takes for manufacturers to take advantage. The CyanogenMod team about it indicated on Google+ that work began around 10.2 CyanogenMod.
